Salem Flag Day June 8th

Flag Day will be celebrated June 8, 2024 this year.
There will be a parade and food will be available from the Big Man food truck. (Cash is needed for the purchase of food items.).

Kids are encouraged to ride their decorated bikes in the parade.  Prizes will be awarded.  Line up for the parade begins at 10:00 am at Salem Elementary School.  

If you would like to support this community event, we are always looking for donors and volunteers. Donations may be sent to Salem Community Events, PO Box 75041, Salem, MI 48175.

Fireworks will be held at dusk June 8, 2023. Our rain date is June 15th. The best viewing is from the playground at Salem Elementary School.
Prior to the fireworks entertainment will be provided by a live band.
